The best eBay Viral Campaign Ever

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

A man made history in 2004 when he sold his ex-wife’s wedding dress on eBay. He became known as “The Wedding Dress Guy” and he broke an eBay record with over 6 Million Hits for a single auction

Larry Star had no idea when he put on his wife’s wedding dress for the eBay picture that it would create such a national sensation.  That’s right, Larry a burly 200 pound tattooed man donned the wedding dress himself for the picture.

He felt that by wearing the dress himself he would make enough money to buy a couple of Mariners tickets and some beer.

Because of the auction’s hilarious writing style it immediately went viral when people began posting links to the auction on discussion forums and sending out emails

Is the $7 Secret a Scam?

Thursday, February 22nd, 2007

In 1978, at the age of 14, I purchased my first IM product.  Back then IM stood for “Information Marketing”.  I answered a classified ad in the back of a magazine for an offer with the following headlines “Get paid $1 for every envelope you stuff”.

I had heard about envelope stuffing jobs, where mail order marketing firms would pay people to manually put sales letters into envelopes, address and mail them.

At the time I thought, “WOW! I can stuff thousands a day.”  So I sent off a dollar bill to the person that ran the ad along with a self addressed stamped envelope to find out how I could start making buckets of money.  (more…)

Almost $50,000 in revenue for January

Friday, February 9th, 2007

I just looked at my stats for January and I just fell short of bringing in $50,000 with my affiliate sales.  While this doesn’t apply towards the Project’s goal I wanted to show what type of income is possible by building multiple traffic generating sites over a period of years.

Here’s a screen caputre from StatsRemote:

I should also note that the CC-Bill Merchant account is not for just one site.  It’s the total of all my CC-Bill sub-merchant accounts and many of those I have partners in so I don’t get to keep the entire $35,907.35; but over half of that is mine. (more…)

Made $1,368.00 yesterday off my WSO.

Thursday, February 1st, 2007

My first day with my WSO I sold 47 eProducts for a total of $1363.00.

Today, Day 2, sales are still going strong so I should sell almost another 50 uints. I’m right on track with my goal of selling 100 within a week.

Here is the WSO: http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=131248

Here are my PayPal screen caps:

I also had some great reviews like:

“This is without a doubt one of the most informative and valuable reports I have gotten in the last several years. The depth of research and the tools given are awesome, and you say it’s a beta??

I am blown away. I am just glad that I caught the WSO and didn’t have to pay full price, although I would have gladly.”

“This is some eye-opening stuff (at least to me, anyway), most of which is not discussed in the mainstream world. Like it or not, the adult-entertainment industry has been the pioneer in many areas of e-commerce, like video. We need to use what works, regardless of where it originated, as long as it’s not illegal or of an otherwise questionable nature. Thanks!”

I started the launch date of the eProduct “Traffic From Scratch” early (on the 31st) because I wanted to put the profit into January’s column.

I’ve had some emails from other IM people wanting to sell this as an affiliate.  So that’s the next goal.
